Automatic Ball Valve

Ball valves with pneumatic drive are used in the building materials industry for the dosage of water and liquid additives. They are much more durable than other valves, performing well after many operation cycles or even after long periods of disuse. Ball valves are typically fast-acting and only used for on/off process, eliminating dosage errors. These qualities make them an excellent choice for shutoff and control applications in the ready-mix industry. They are available in stainless steel as well as plastic, threaded or flanged, suitable for water, air, chemicals, oil, acid, etc.

Stainless steel ball valve, threated – Specifications

3 piece stainless steel ball valve (304 SS), two way, internal threaded. A pneumatic actuator or hand lever can be bolt directly on the mounting pad (as per ISO 5211) of the valve body. No extra brackets/couplers are required. The bottom of the actuator is rest on the mounting pad of the valve.

Stainless steel ball valve, Flanged – Specifications

2 piece stainless steel ball valve (304 SS), two way, flanged. A pneumatic actuator or hand lever can be bolt directly on the mounting pad (as per ISO 5211) of the valve body. No extra brackets/couplers are required. The bottom of the actuator is rest on the mounting pad of the valve.

PVC ball valve, true union – Specifications

Corrosion resistance thermoplastic ball valve (made of UPVC -100 ~ +700), two way, with true union connection. A pneumatic actuator or hand lever can be bolt directly on the mounting pad (as per ISO 5211) of the valve body. No extra brackets/couplers are required. The bottom of the actuator is rest on the mounting pad of the valve.

Pneumatic actuators - Specifications

Double action (DA) or single/spring return (SR) pneumatic actuators for all types of ball valves having mounting plate (as per ISO 5211). Operation with dry or oiled air at a pressure of 2 to 8 bar.

Accessories for pneumatic actuators

Our pneumatic actuators are usually provided with a 5/2 way single solenoid valve having G¼ air inlet/outlet. The air pressure for normal industrial applications should be between 6-8 bar. The coil voltage can be AC or DC with a various voltage from 12 to 220 V which should be specified when ordering.

To mark the position of the ball valve (open-closed) an optional limit switch box is available to be mounted on the top of the pneumatic actuator by a stainless steel bracket.
