MOISTURE INDICATING SENSOR FOR ALL MOISTURE METERS

The Hydro-View is an intuitive moisture display unit that has been designed to work with the Hydronix range of sensors. Featuring a color touch screen, it displays in real time on-line process measurements including both moisture and temperature and can display measurements from up to 4 sensors on one screen. In addition, its simple interface provides a quick and easy method to calibrate and configure Hydronix sensors.

Quick Overview

The Hydro-View can connect and communicate with up to 16 sensors at one time and its main page supports from 1 to 4 screen areas, based on how it is configured. Each of the screen areas displays a trend graph or numeric display of measurements from any connected sensor. This provides the user with the ability to see at a glance different measurements from either the same sensor or from up to 4 sensors without the need to change between screens.

The intuitive multi-point calibration feature of the Hydro-View enables the sensor to be easily and precisely calibrated to the material (sand, gravel, etc.) being measured. This significantly increases the moisture measurements accuracy. Multiple material calibrations can be stored for each sensor, allowing rapid recalculation if the material being measured is changed.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Connection is straightforward using the RS485 connection from the Hydro-View to a Hydronix sensor and up to 16 sensors may be connected at a time. Using the RS485 connection, material calibration, operating parameters and sensor diagnostics can be easily updated through the Hydro-View touch screen interface. The sensors can be connected at the same time with another control system through their 4-20 mA / 0-10V analog output.

The unit can be mounted in a control panel using the supplied mounting bracket or fitted into the optional Wall Mounted Enclosure. The Hydro-View IV can either be integrated into a new or existing control system.
