Automation of a ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) by PROTEM, for underwater cable laying.

When a technical company approached us to automate the control of their custom-designed and manufactured underwater ROV, we first had to decide whether to remain true to our commitments. One of our key slogans on our website is:

“We are open to new challenges…”

Indeed, we stayed true to our word. We undertook on the project, which was successfully completed in mid-2024. All testing and improvements were carried out on land, and the fully automated ROV by PROTEM is now operational in the seas.
