The "PROMITHEAS" program is showcased, with 3D graphics for monitoring and controlling production via a computer screen.

PROTEM developed its own SCADA system, featuring 3D animated graphics and touch screen control capability. This was a time when even the term "SCADA" was unknown to most people in Greece.

For our first customer, who had the "PROMITHEAS" installed in 1994 with a touch screen, during a factory break, a cleaner went to clean the screen, and suddenly conveyors and other equipment started operating. This naturally caused a panic, but fortunately, there was no accident or damage. When we realized what had happened, we acknowledged our oversight and upgraded our software within a few hours to prevent the same issue from occurring again.
